National Level Exercise 2009 (NLE 09)

National Level Exercise 2009 (NLE 09) is scheduled for July 27 through July 31, 2009. NLE 09 will be the first major exercise conducted by the United States government that will focus exclusively on terrorism prevention and protection, as opposed to incident response and recovery.

NLE 09 is designated as a Tier I National Level Exercise. Tier I exercises (formerly known as the Top Officials exercise series or TOPOFF) are conducted annually in accordance with the National Exercise Program (NEP), which serves as the nation's overarching exercise program for planning, organizing, conducting and evaluating national level exercises. The NEP was established to provide the U.S. government, at all levels, exercise opportunities to prepare for catastrophic crises ranging from terrorism to natural disasters.

NLE 09 is a White House directed, Congressionally- mandated exercise that includes the participation of all appropriate federal department and agency senior officials, their deputies, staff and key operational elements. In addition, broad regional participation of state, tribal, local, and private sector is anticipated. This year the United States welcomes the participation of Australia, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom in NLE 09.

Entertainers Having to Pay To Entertain Children Due to Government Child Database

Clowns, magicians and puppeteers, who have spent their lives entertaining children, will have to pay to register on a new government child protection database, despite already proving they do not pose a threat.

Entertainers who have regular contact with children currently have to undergo Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks, costing up to £60, to prove to employers that they do not pose a danger. Under the Vetting and Barring Scheme (VBS), which launches in October, they will have to pay another £64 to add their names to a separate database.

Within five years, the details of more than 11 million people will be stored by the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) which manages the scheme. It was created in response to the 2002 murders of Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells by Ian Huntley, a school caretaker, and is intended to protect children from pedophiles.

Stephen Spence, assistant general secretary of live performance at the union Equity, which represents 37,000 British performers and artists, accused the Government of "offloading" the costs of the scheme on to its members, many of whom are poorly paid.

Police officer numbers hit a record high in England and Wales last year, figures revealed today.

Home Office statistics showed there were nearly 2,000 more full- time officers in 2008/9, including an extra 1,200 constables.

The 43 forces employed 143,770 full-time officers, around 1 per cent more than a year earlier.

Cheaper Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) are being employed at a much faster rate, the figures revealed. Total numbers went up 16,507, or 4 per cent.

The figures suggest public spending constraints have yet to lead to fewer officers and police staff.

Not all forces increased the number of officers they employed, however.

Twenty-seven forces employed more, including an extra 1,100 in the Metropolitan Police, while 16 reported falls in officer strength including both North and South Yorkshire and Humberside.

The number of officers from ethnic minority groups grew by just 0.3 per cent. Ethnic minority officers now make up just over 4 per cent of the total.

The first human trials for a swine flu vaccine have begun in Australia where a David and Goliath race is on for one of medicine's biggest prizes.

Trials began today at the Royal Adelaide Hospital on a vaccine developed by CSL Biotherapies, which has a pre-order from the Australian Government for 21 million doses - enough to cover the entire population.

But a local biotech firm, Vaxine, began its trials on Monday at Adelaide's Flinders Medical Centre and claims that its purely synthetic vaccine is technologically superior.

It is also crying foul, because it says CSL - the former government vaccine manufacturer privatised in 1994 - enjoys an unfair monopoly, which means that Vaxine will have to sell its product abroad.

"It's scandalous because it's Australians who are dying from this and they (the Government) are blocking what is a proven technology from moving forward, to protect CSL's monopoly," Professor Nikolai Petrovsky, the Vaxine chairman, told the Adelaide Advertiser.

"I don't see where that's fair, rational or in the interests of the Australian public."

Australia had confirmed 14,703 cases of swine flu as of today and is witnessing daily deaths as winter bites in the southern hemisphere, the latest a 59-year-old woman with underlying health issues.

Altogether 231 people are in hospital nationwide including 96 in intensive care. At least 41 people have died so far after contracting the virus.

For that reason, neither vaccine company has had any trouble attracting volunteers. CSL's seven-month trials will involve 240 adult volunteers and 400 children between the ages of six months and nine years. Vaxine, for its part, has enlisted 300 to help it test its jab.

The federal Health Minister, Nicola Roxon, who has predicted that Australia could see as many as 6,000 deaths from the H1N1 swine flu virus said that she would roll out the CSL vaccine as soon as she had confirmation that it is "safe and effective".

But although Australia appears to have gained a slight edge in the race to develop a vaccine, major pharmaceutical companies around the world are all rushing to develop rival vaccines ahead of an expected surge in cases in the northern hemisphere this autumn and winter.

Britain's Glaxo SmithKline, the world's third largest pharma group, announced today that it has taken orders for 195 million doses of swine flu vaccine, and was planning to triple production of its antiviral drug, Relenza.

Production of Glaxo's swine flu vaccine is already under way at the firm’s German and Canadian plants, although human trials have not yet started.

Dr Petrovsky insisted that his company's completely synthetic vaccine would be purer than the viral vaccine being produced by CSL using "last-century manufacturing technology" which involves growing the virus in eggs and inactivating them.

He described that as an "old-fashioned approach" but said that CSL were would do "everything in their power" to maintain its monopoly.

But Dr Rachel David, a CSL spokeswoman, said that only CSL, which has thousands of staff around the world and an annual turnover exceeding A$3 billion, had the capacity to provide the amount of vaccine Australia needed, and that it would take too long to get approval for Vaxine's product.

"All this takes years, so we are not intentionally, and we would not intentionally, shut anyone out of the market," she said.

CSL says that it will be several months before it could verify the safety and effectiveness of its vaccine and determine the vaccination schedule. Dr Petrovsky said Vaxine's vaccine could be verified within six to eight weeks, although there was "no guarantee" that it would work.

"I think it's important for the public to know that they're going to get a safe and effective vaccine," said Andrew Pesce, president of the Australian Medical Association. "No one will give anybody brownie points for putting out a vaccine that didn't work or caused harm."

Aspartame is an artificial sweetener. Aspartame is often found in sugar free gum, like Orbit© or 5Gum©.

Though most people are not even aware of its existence, those that know its there most likely do not know its effect. Aspartame is an extremely dangerous man-made chemical.

What makes it so dangerous is that it shows different symptoms on different people. Some can show symptoms of MS, Meningitis, or even depression. Although after these people stopped consuming aspartame the symptoms disappeared, if the stopping of consuming aspartame is not fast enough, the symptoms can stick.

Aspartame can be used as an ant poison, and has a high toxicity rate. With aspartames high toxicity rate, it has/can cause/caused BRAIN SEIZURES.

Many other neurological symptoms, disabilities, and diseases have also been reported due to aspartame.

So if I were you I would look more closely at those ingredients labels, and stay clear away from ANYTHING containing aspartame, it could well save your life.

HW4: Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)

MSG stands for Monosodium Glutamate. MSG is known to be a great flavor enhancer, but most don’t know its negative effects. Monosodium Glutamate is highly neurotoxic. MSG can cause retinal degeneration, can kill brain cells which in turn leads to behavior disorders, learning disabilities, reproductive disorders, obesity, and a whole lot more.

Retinal Degeneration – This was proved by a Dr. Lucas who found that severe retinal legions would appear on suckling mice with only a small dose of glutamate. This was big among the world of science and it was soon proved that Monosodium Glutamate did in fact induce retinal degeneration.

Learning/Behavior/Reproductive Disorders And Obesity – Between 1969 and 1980, the first relevant studies were done on MSG, in which MSG was administered to Animals. By the early 1980’s the animals started showing signs of neurotoxicity, and with that pathophysiological abnormalities started to spring up.

Fluoride is also an extremely effective insecticide. Insecticide KILLS BUGS. “Fluoride is also found in mind-affecting drugs like Prozac and the "date rape" drug Rophynol”. Putting fluoride into the human mouth so it can absorb these dangerous properties are also part of the governments “New World Order”.

Good Ways to avoid drinking fluoride is to invest in a Reverse Osmosis Water generator.

UK: The Ultimate State of Security Update 1

Upon a drastic change in my personal circumstances, I've flown in to the UK for a year. This has furthered my research on the UK by allowing me to have first hand experience on the UK's current situation.

Sure enough, as soon as i had arrived, one thing was obvious. There were TOO MANY CAMERAS. The surveillance/facial scanning cameras were all over the airport, and in the surrounding towns, including London.

The next thing I saw was more than enough to prove that the UK was the ultimate state of security, and even surpassed my expectations. A local building - now keep in mind this building was not a police department or a military base, or anything of any real importance, in fact it was a recreational center for seniors - was not only fitted with more than 4 surveillance camera's around the outside of it's perimeter, but also was fitted with super sharp spikes on covering most of the roof, and all of the upper walls. SPIKES people, SUPER SHARP SPIKES.

This building was not hiding anything. This building did not require even a LOCK, but SPIKES and CAMERAS? Now just to fill you in on how sharp these spikes actually were, I could reach one of the ones on the upper walls, and by the slightest touch I cut my finger.

When I asked the people in the area about the spikes, they casually said that it was to prevent people from climbing on the roof.

Now I ASK YOU, if that truly IS THE PURPOSE, and it truly IS TO KEEP PEOPLE OF THE ROOFS, does a bored teenager who is stupid enough to actually climb the roof really deserve being torn apart by spikes if he happens to fall? Apparently, yes.

As I have been touching down on from time to time on the radio, the cybersecurity agency that Obama had been eager to release is due to start operation near the beginning of August. As i have said on air, this WILL remove all free speech on the internet, most likely shutting me and other activists like myself down.

President Obama is to make this new cybersecurity agency to be #1 priotrity of his new National Security Strategy, and is under the control of the new Cabinet Office, which is somewhat of a strange thing considering that before this plan was introduced, Organizations such as the GCHQ, MI6, and the Ministry of Defence were responsible for such things.

What concerns me most, and frankly what should concern my listeners the most as well, is the fact that this new agency is to be in operation within the Pentagon! This means that the centralization of the elite agenda are moving exponentionaly and some of the steps that they were meant to take are now being completely skipped! This is good in a way, because it means we are hurtin' them, but this also means sooner action.

The EUC (european union commision) have also started efforts to launch a cybersecurity agency much like the one starting in the U.S. England has been networking on its own, conducting talks with Canada and the US to create plans in the case that a cyberattack is launched by terrorists or foreign power. Will this mean all of Europe, and maybe the world will start agency's like this, to remove the activists from the internet? Could this be an alternative to getting rid of the internet all together?

The most major threats are thought to be in China, North Korea, and Russia which, to me at least is no suprise considering our track record with all the above countries.

US and Chinese navies face off in South China Sea

China and America have been drawn into a rare confrontation on the high seas, it emerged today, when the Pentagon accused Chinese ships of manoeuvring dangerously close to a US navy vessel.

The US intends to protest to the Chinese military attache in Washington after Sunday's incident, which followed several days of what US defence officials called "increasingly aggressive" acts by Chinese ships.

At one point, the Pentagon said, the US vessel Impeccable sprayed one ship with water from fire hoses to force it away. The Chinese came within eight metres of the American ship, the Pentagon said, calling the manoeuvre "an apparent co-ordinated effort to harass the US ocean surveillance ship while it was conducting routine operations in international waters".

The vessels were in the South China Sea, about 75 miles south of Hainan Island. No one at the Chinese foreign ministry was available for comment tonight.

Earlier, the official newspaper China Daily carried remarks from the navy's deputy chief of staff, who said the force's growth did not pose a threat to others.

In an interview at the weekend, Major General Zhang Deshun told the newspaper: "Even when the navy has its aircraft carriers one day, our national defence strategy will remain purely defensive.

"The Chinese navy pursues peace and safeguards the security of the country."

The Pentagon spoke of its ship being surrounded. "The Chinese vessels surrounded USNS Impeccable, two of them closing to within 50ft [16 metres], waving Chinese flags and telling Impeccable to leave the area," a statement said.

"Because the vessels' intentions were not known, Impeccable sprayed its fire hoses at one of the vessels in order to protect itself," it said. "The Chinese crew members disrobed to their underwear and continued closing to within 25ft."

The Chinese navy has drawn increasing scrutiny since it joined the international fleet battling Somalian pirates in the Gulf of Aden – its first overseas mission since the founding of the People's Republic in 1949.

Zhang added: "Some foreign media saw it as an opportunity to hype so-called 'China threat'. In fact, China is doing exactly what other countries are doing sending ships there: to protect [their] national interests."

He said China's plans to build aircraft carriers, which have also drawn attention, were "strategically very common" for a big country with a long coastline.
